After working in Childcare for 12 years, it was time to take on my own adventure! The idea of Puffin’s was born a few years ago, and finally in 2018 the dream came true. My journey started in a Nursery where I started as an Assistant Practitioner. In my time at this Nursery I gained my qualifications and two promotions, leading me to Head of Room. From there I moved onto another Nursery where after starting as a Head of Room I worked my way up to the Management Team. My most recent role was as a Private Nanny for two lovely families, who I am still in contact with now. At Puffin’s I am taking a ‘hands-on’ role.

Hello! I am Becks and I have had 12 years of experience working with children. I have had the pleasure of working within a wide range of settings including a variety of nurseries, special needs school and a Forest School! I have progressed my career through a range of roles from Practitioner, to Room Leader and up to a Deputy Manager. I have two children of my own, Ollie and Ivy. I enjoy getting involved within children's play, extending their learning and experiences through enjoyable and meaningful interactions. I look forward to meeting all the new additions to our Puffins family!

I have 11+ years experience working with children and young people from being based in a nursery setting, where I became qualified, to creating my own childminding business. I joined Puffins in Oct 2022 as Deputy and I am now Manager mat cover which I'm really enjoying. I have a daughter, Arya, who is in the Pre-School room. I love being creative, working with a team and expanding on my knowledge within childcare.

Hi, I am Clare and I have been working in Childcare for 9 years. I have worked in 2 Day Nurseries and have previously been a Private Nanny for 2 separate families. I now have my own daughter, Myla who will be spending time here at Puffins. I love creating fun activities for the children to enjoy!

After a career change seven years ago, I joined a nursery and in the time I was there I gained my level 3 diploma in childcare. Soon after, I had my daughter and then began to nanny which I have continued to do ever since.

I now have a son as well who will be coming along with me to Puffins and although I have taken a step back from full time childcare, it is still a huge passion of mine and I am looking forward to being in that environment again and seeing all your littles ones thrive!

Having worked in childcare for almost 10 years now, I am very excited to join the Puffin’s team! 



Throughout my career I have spent time working with all age groups within the EYFS, as well as spending some time managing my previous setting. I have my NVQ level 3 and BA Honours Degree and hope in the near future to begin a teaching degree. I can’t wait to get to know everyone, and begin having a positive impact on the children’s development!

My name is Tom and I have been a practitioner for over 20 years in different areas of education including nursery, schools, and being an assessor. I have enjoyed developing the children's prime areas in readiness for school. I have two children called Florrie and Albie and I enjoy going to watch Brentford FC. I am looking forward to starting my puffins journey.

I have worked in childcare for 13 years. I began my childcare journey in a nursery where I gained my qualifications. I then became a private nanny for 4 lovely families until I had my son Noah in December. I have loved having some time off with him spending quality time together, but am now looking forward to both our new journeys here at puffins.

I wanted to work at Puffins because it looked like such a lovely, friendly environment for me to begin my career within Childcare. I have just started my Level 2 Early Years Educator course which I am so excited to get stuck into!

Hi, I am Alice and I have worked in childcare for over 8 years now. I have a little boy called Finn and we love exploring around the countryside. I really enjoy working with children, seeing them grow and develop and more of all have fun! I cannot wait to meet all of you.

I have worked in childcare for just over 2 years. I gained my level 3 qualification through an apprenticeship after finishing college. I am planning on doing my Early Years Degree in the near future and look forward to gaining more knowledge and experience. I enjoy riding motorcycles and help run youth motorcycles and help run a youth motorcycle trials club. I am excited to be part of the Puffins team, and look forward to seeing what the future brings.

With 16 years of experience in the catering trade and a background in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Sari brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. Her dedication to providing the best food possible has already been appreciated by our little charges! In her free time, she's is passionate about creating alternative remedies, and practicing Reiki. Sari expresses her creativity through her food, painting, and gardening.  Sari has a special place in her heart for rescue dogs and currently shares her home with Nemo, a 10-year-old Jack Russell/Corgi mix along with 2 of her 3 children. Sari also has a green thumb and dedicates time cultivating her garden. Originally from across the pond in America she's called the UK home for an impressive 26 years!
