I have been with the company since it first opened in 2018 and played a key role in preparing the setting for opening, as well as welcoming our team and families into the
Puffins family.
It has been a joy to be part of the nursery’s growth and to continue working alongside the wonderful team we have built together. I am passionate about creating a nurturing, supportive environment where children, families, and staff
can thrive.
Outside of Puffins, I am a mummy to two lovely little girls, and I enjoy spending quality time with my family.

I have 13+ years experience working with children and young people from being based in a nursery setting, where I became qualified and progressed to management level, to creating my own childminding business. I also have my own daughter who loved her Puffins journey. I joined Puffins in Oct 2022 as a deputy and am now the Manager. I really enjoy getting to know the children and parents and being able to make a positive difference within the setting. I look forward to continuing with this and welcoming new families to Puffins!

I have worked in childcare for 14 years and have loved growing and developing throughout my career, from starting as a Practitioner to becoming Room Leader, Third in Charge, and now Deputy Manager at Puffins Pre-school and Day Nursery.
I am also a mum to two children, one of whom will be spending time here at Puffins, which makes this role even more special to me. I really enjoy planning fun, creative activities and watching the children learn, grow, and gain confidence. Supporting children to feel happy, safe, and excited to explore is what I love most about working in early years.

I am excited to be working at Puffins and being back in a Nursery setting and getting to know all the children. I love being able to support children in their learning and development and love being back as part of a team.

Hello! I am Becks and I have had 12 years of experience working with children. I have had the pleasure of working within a wide range of settings including a variety of nurseries, special needs school and a Forest School! I have progressed my career through a range of roles from Practitioner, to Room Leader and up to a Deputy Manager. I have two children of my own, Ollie and Ivy. I enjoy getting involved within children's play, extending their learning and experiences through enjoyable and meaningful interactions. I look forward to meeting all the new additions to our Puffins family!

I’m passionate about early years education and believe that children learn best through play, especially when they’re engaged in imaginative and creative activities.
As a mum of four teenagers, I was inspired to pursue a career in early years once my own children grew older. I’ve always loved working with children – from my time as a swimming teacher and party entertainer, to running my own children’s role play business. These experiences have deepened my appreciation for the power of playful learning.
I’m delighted to be part of the team at Puffins – it’s a nurturing and inspiring environment where children truly thrive. During my time here, I’m excited to continue developing professionally as I work towards my Level 3 qualification in Early Years.

I have worked in childcare for 13 years. I began my childcare journey in a nursery where I gained my qualifications. I then became a private nanny for 4 lovely families until I had my son Noah in December. I have loved having some time off with him spending quality time together, but am now looking forward to both our new journeys here at puffins.

I’m working as an apprentice at Puffins and studying to get my Level 3 qualification. I have completed my Level 2 in college and worked at Puffins as my work experience placement. I had such a great time working here as an early years practitioner, so I decided to apply for an apprentice role. I love having fun playing with the children in the Pre-school Room and also enjoy doing creative activities with them.

I’m really excited to be starting my new adventure at Puffins and to learn more about the EYFS. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my dog and going to the cinema.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and I like to go running when I can. Whilst at Puffins, I would love to work towards gaining my Level 3 qualification in childcare. I trained as a level 3 nursery nurse from college and have worked in a variety of different childcare settings. I have been an SEN 1-1 with primary school-aged children, teaching assistant, sure start centre assistant, montessori setting, and other private nurseries for around 5 years. I did a lot of volunteering with the guiding association as a teenager and my first job was with a stage school as a teaching assistant. I took a break from working with children for a couple of years but decided to return after having a little one of my own. My little one is in the baby room and is enjoying being at Puffins as much as I am.

Her dedication to providing the best food possible has already been appreciated by our little charges! In her free time, she's is passionate about creating alternative remedies, and practicing Reiki. Sari expresses her creativity through her food, painting, and gardening. Sari has a special place in her heart for rescue dogs and currently shares her home with Nemo, a 10-year-old Jack Russell/Corgi mix along with 2 of her 3 children. Sari also has a green thumb and dedicates time cultivating her garden. Originally from across the pond in America she's called the UK home for an impressive 26 years!

Hi, I'm Jake, a firefighter who spends some of his days off working as Bankstaff at Puffins. I help children with arts and crafts and keeping things fun and safe. As a firefighter, I specialise in instructing first aid, working at heights, water rescue and animal rescue. It's a great balance between the adrenaline of fighting fires and the joy of working with little ones.
